1. Scope

This policy applies to personal data processing activities when you use the AI Care app (iOS and Android) and access related information pages.

This policy does not cover the privacy rules of third-party app stores. When you access a store, that platform’s privacy rules apply.

If you contact us by email, information exchanged by email is also covered by this policy.

2. Information We Collect

1) App-related information

  • Medicine and reminder information: Medication names, dosages, administration methods, reminder times, cycles, intake records, check-in status, and notes you entered or recognized in the app.

  • Device settings and preferences: Alarm preferences, language, display, reminder style, and other settings configured in the app.

  • Feedback: Email, suggestions, issue reports, screenshots, and logs you submit voluntarily through feedback channels.

2) What We Do Not Collect Proactively

  • Identity information: Except for an email address you provide, the app does not require real-name or account-based fields such as legal name, ID number, or contact phone number.

  • Precise location and contacts: Unless required for core functionality, we do not request contacts access and do not use location history for advertising or profiling.

3. How We Use Information

We use information only in the following situations:

  • To generate and display reminder plans, check-in records, and historical statistics on your device.
  • To support searching, editing, archiving, and clearing your medication records in the app.
  • To diagnose issues and improve product experience when you voluntarily submit feedback.
  • To keep the app and services stable by handling security incidents and abnormal logs.
  • To fulfill legal and compliance obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use personal data for targeted advertising.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Without your explicit additional consent, we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties. We only disclose it in the following legal circumstances:

  • When required by law, regulatory rules, or judicial procedures.
  • To protect the safety of you or third parties, including prevention of cyberattacks or major safety risks.
  • To meet legal anti-fraud duties and service stability requirements.

Outside these statutory situations, we do not share or sell personal data for advertising purposes.

5. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion

1) Local-First Storage

AI Care stores medicine information, medication plans, reminder logs, and statistical data primarily on your device (phone or tablet). Unless you submit related information via email or in-app feedback, we do not keep your full medication records on a server for a long period.

2) Retention Period

  • In-app local data is managed by you and generally follows your usage period; uninstalling the app removes local app data under your device settings.
  • You can use the app’s "Clear Data" function to delete all local medicine, reminder, and check-in records at once.
  • For email or in-app feedback content, retention follows support handling and compliance requirements; you may request deletion or de-identification through email or feedback channels.

6. Security Measures

We apply technical and management measures to reduce leakage and misuse risks, including:

  • Data minimization and least-privilege access controls.
  • Local data is used only within on-device authorization scope, reducing dependency on external transmission.
  • Feedback emails are handled only by authorized personnel with access restrictions in place.

Although we continuously improve security, internet transmission and device environments can never be zero-risk. Use a strong password and protect your account and email security.

7. Your Rights

Within the scope of applicable law, you have the following rights:

  • View and edit your medicines and reminders in the app.
  • Delete local personal data and reset local history through the "Clear Data" feature.
  • Request deletion of information you submitted via email.
  • Correct inaccurate information you have provided.
  • Restrict or object to processing and withdraw your consent at any time where applicable.
  • File complaints with competent supervisory authorities.

8. Children's Clause

The app is designed for adult users. If you are under 18, use it under guardian supervision and avoid submitting personally identifiable information.
